Our client that we created a social media ad campaign for was Cat's Cradle, a non-profit cat rescue in the Shenandoah Valley. Our goal was to increase awareness for the organization's new cat café, Coffee & Cats, by producing advertisements across different social media platforms.

Creative Approach
The creative approach taken for this campaign stems from the fun, youthful, and colorful decorations of the Cat Café kitten rooms. The colors of the content for the social media posts carry a fun and inviting aspect that is inspired by the photo-op rooms. Illustrations inspired by playful colors were included because they are a unique feature that stands out amongst other posts. Including the vibrant colors throughout the various posts shows a coherent brand personality that is fun, inviting, and desirable. The client’s audience uses Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat as preferred social media platforms. The social media ads will be presented to the target audience and will provide the desired message with attention-grabbing images on these chosen platforms.
Social Media Placement
Facebook was chosen as one of the social media outlets for Cat’s Cradle because it will reach its target demographic age range which is people ages 55-64. Additionally, Instagram was included in this campaign because it is easy to share posts and spread awareness across the entirety of the platform. Instagram allows for the sending, reposting, hashtags, and geotags of public posts. Furthermore, tweets were incorporated into this campaign because they would allow Cat’s Cradle to show a more factual and informative side of its brand. It would also provide them with the opportunity to showcase its brand’s charismatic personality. For the alternative social media platform, Snapchat was decided upon. Snapchat is a picture-focused app which would allow Cat’s Cradle to showcase its social media-worthy wall backgrounds in addition to the cute kittens. The geotag filter will allow visitors to have a photo-op while including Cat's Cradle location and information in a fun way. Snapchat also allows users to easily and quickly contact the company for inquiries. The use of these social media platforms combined will guarantee an increase in Cat’s Cradle brand awareness among its target audience.
