Meet the team
Tanya Faktes
Tanya Faktes is a senior at James Madison University (JMU) from Yorktown, Virginia. She is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Creative Advertising and a minor in Educational Media. Outside of school, she enjoys embroidering and taking portraits. After graduation, Tanya hopes to move to a larger city to work at an advertising agency.
Cayla Davis
Cayla is majoring in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Creative Advertising. She is pursuing a General Business minor and an Honors Disciplinary Studies minor. Campus involvement is a big part of her life at JMU. She serves on the executive team for the Madison Advertising Federation as a Creative Strategist, and plays on the Women’s Club Soccer team. She hopes to work as an account planner or a strategist for an agency after graduation.
Devon Smith
Devon is majoring in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Creative Advertising and pursuing a Studio Art minor. Art is a significant part of her life and JMU art classes helped shape her artistic vision. This fall semester, she is interning at ArtWorks as a website designer. She serves on the executive team for the Madison Advertising Federation as a Media Executive. She hopes to work as a creative strategist for an agency in the future.
Kelsey Williams
Kelsey is majoring in Media Arts and Design with a concentration in Creative Advertising. She is passionate about graphic design, branding, and photography. She also runs a photography business specializing in weddings and senior portraits. She is pursuing going full time with this after her spring graduation, and would also like to help other small businesses with branding strategies and concepts. In her free time, she loves to work out and even teaches a HIIT class at the university recreation center.
